Does Dry Shampoo Make Your Hair Fall Out?

It’s no secret that we love Dry Shampoo. What’s not to love about being able to snooze for an extra 15 minutes in the morning, and opting for a quick spritz of Dry Shampoo instead of washing your hair? But for every good claim about dry shampoo changing hair lives, there’s a claim that its negatives outweigh its positives. This week we’re tackling dry shampoo to find out if this hair myth is indeed a myth or if in fact it does have some truth to it.

Here at Mitchell John Salon we only use Living Proof’s Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo on our clients, because it contains fast-absorbing powders that soak up oil and sweat. Their patented OFPMA molecule reduces the surface friction on hair, so it’s easy to remove the powders making this the next best thing to washing your hair. Long story short? This dry shampoo is the real deal. The problem with a lot of the hair loss claims, is people are using other dry shampoos that have inauthentic ingredients causing damaging to the hair. Do keep in mind though, it’s important to not over-use the product and to not skip washing your hair altogether. Try and use it 2-3 days a week, maximum.
